Hello, I’m Annie. As an adoptive mom, I know how much small, consistent gestures matter in open adoption. That’s why I created Cards That Connect—a simple, heartfelt way for families to share updates, milestones, and meaningful moments with their child’s birth family.
These cards are prompted, so families always know what to say—no awkward “what do I write?” moments. They can send as many cards as they want, include photos, and make every update feel personal and thoughtful.
If families don’t know the birth parents’ emails, no problem—they can send the cards to your agency and you can forward them along. Everything is automatic, consistent, and easy to manage.
With over 35 digital cards—holiday greetings, birthday interviews, milestone updates—families can stay connected in a way that’s quick, meaningful, and actually doable. Gentle reminders help make sure important moments aren’t missed.

Q&A for Agencies
Q: How does this work for our adoptive families?
A: Once you subscribe, you’ll receive a login link for your families. They can log in and start filling out a digital card. They will hit submit and it will automatically be sent to the birth family. Quick, secure, and meaningful.
Q: How do we know which family belongs to our agency?
A: Each family fills out a welcome form when they first log in. That form includes the agency/attorney name, so all activity can be traced back to your agency.
Q: How are reminders sent?
A: Families fill out their child’s birthday month when they register. We send an email reminder at the start of that month, prompting them to log in and complete the card. Along with that reminder we will send holiday reminders throughout the year.
Q: Do families keep a copy of the cards?
A: Yes, a copy of the card will be emailed to them.
Q: What information do we need to provide as an agency?
A: Just subscribe to the plan, and we’ll provide the login link for your families.
Q: Can this be canceled?
A: Yes — you can cancel your subscription at any time.
